What Do We Test For?
HEPA Filter Testing
A HEPA filter passes if it successfully captures at least 99.97% of particles that are 0.3 microns in diameter. During leak tests, a passing grade means no leaks were detected in the filters or their housings.

Leak Testing
We perform leak tests to identify any breaches or failures in the filter media or sealing.

Leaks can be identified when the concentration on the room side exceeds 0.010% of the upstream concentration. Small leaks in ISO 7 and 8 cleanrooms may not require repair, but larger leaks should be fixed from the upstream side using sealant or spare media. Differential pressure and airflow are also part of certification tests, and monitoring these can help determine filter lifespan.
Pressure Drop Measurement & Tracking
We measure and track the air pressure difference across HEPA filters to ensure their effectiveness in particle removal and maintain required air quality standards
Airflow Measurement
This test ensures uniform airflow distribution across the filter surface, crucial for consistent particle capture and preventing the bypass of unfiltered air.
